Northern Printers focus on MIS at the BPIF Networking Meeting Northern Ireland 9th June 2011

Sharon Mordey, UK Business Manager with Optimus, gave the MIS suppliers' perspective on Lean Manufacturing at the British Printing Industry Federation's Northern Ireland networking meeting held at the Belfast Metropolitan College on the 9th June 2011. 

She told some of the BPIF's Northern Irish members about how Optimus can help them in their quest to adopt Lean principles such as maximising profit, improving efficiency, increasing sales and eliminating waste. 

She said MIS was at the heart of Lean Manufacturing in a print business and that it should interact effectively with all departments.

"MIS isn't just an expensive calculator for estimating and generating quotations, it should provide the business with the data required to monitor, measure and analyse business performance."
